Nelson Bay Golf Club is located near the CBD of Nelson Bay and stunning waterways of Port Stephens just 40 minutes north of Newcastle and 2.5hrs north of Sydney. It is an impressive 27 hole golf course on 175 acres of challenging tree lined fairways. This highly ranked and award winning venue boasts a new Clubhouse including function rooms, Bluewater Grill restaurant, halfway house, sports bar, cafe/lounge and balconies over looking this stunning course.

We have a well-stocked Pro-Shop and PGA Certified Professionals to assist you with the running of your corporate golf day, competitions, coaching clinics, prizes and corporate gifts. The Club has purchased a brand new fleet of 40 carts with GPS controls for you to consider for your players. There is a practice putting green and driving range to get you warmed up before your competition starts.

The function rooms have presentation equipment, staging, state-of-the-art audio visual and PA system available for your use during or after your corporate golf day. Our caterers can do anything from a casual BBQ to a refined 3 course meal and everything in between. There are facilities on the course for catering and a function kit full of menus for you to choose from.

Function Centre

Your perfect venue!

Nelson Bay Golf Club offers a fresh new approach to functions and events with an exciting new menu and beverage list for you to choose from. Our function room has its own bar and private balcony that has unique views over our picturesque course and out to Tomaree Headland. We can cater for cocktail functions, table banquets, carveries, BBQ’s and sit down meals. You can even choose which tap beer you would like served at YOUR bar!

Our Tomaree and Yacaaba rooms when combined can host a cocktail function for up to 230 people or a sit down formal dinner for 180 people. With a balcony that wraps around them they offer plenty of space for your pre-dinner drinks, breakout or even a casual BBQ lunch. The board room is also available for your next meeting.

Our in-house caterers can look after your every need whether it is a casual affair, themed event or if you're looking for assistance with creating your own menu. Food and beverage packages are available for your group from breakfast right through to dinner.

Conferencing has never been easier with our facilities providing "state-of-the-art" audio visual, PA system, staging and equipment. With flexible room set ups and a venue that offer natural light or that can be completely blacked out for your presentation it is the perfect location.
