Nelson Bay Golf Club offers a fresh new approach to functions and events with an exciting new menu and beverage list for you to choose from. Our function room has a private bar and balcony with unique views over our picturesque course and out to Tomaree Headland.

onferencing has never been easier with our facilities providing “state-of-the-art” audio visual, PA system, staging and equipment. With flexible room set ups and a venue that offers natural light or can be completely blacked out for your presentation it is the perfect location.

When combined, our Tomaree and Yacaaba rooms can host a cocktail function for up to 210 people or a sit-down formal dinner for 160 people. With a balcony that wraps around them, they offer plenty of space for your pre-dinner drinks, breakout, or casual lunch.

Our in-house caterers can look after your every need, whether a casual affair, a themed event or if you’re looking for assistance creating your own menu. Food and beverage packages are available for your group from breakfast to dinner.

Friendly staff, great view

They have daily tours to see the many kangaroos up close - ideal for tourists, and run by volunteers...excellent knowledge from the guides, and the fee goes back to the study of the kangaroo behaviour.

Beautiful course in great condition even after the heavy rain, awesome flora and fauna surround your golf experience.

We gathered at the Golf Club for work Christmas luncheon. Even with the busy lunch period and all the social groups in the bistro, our meals were quick, hot and as expected.

The Nelson Bay course is unique as it is carved out of a beautiful Australian coastal forest with kangaroos running wild on every golf hole.
