Nelson Bay Golf Club has worked with Craig Parry to create a long-term Golf Course Master Plan that sets out a shared vision for the future of our course.
The plan focuses on improving playability, strategic design and the overall experience for members and visitors, ensuring our course continues to thrive for generations to come.
About the Master Plan
The Golf Course Master Plan is a strategic document developed to guide the long-term future of Nelson Bay Golf Club. It has been created to ensure the course continues to evolve in a sustainable, well-planned and member-focused way.
The Master Plan outlines recommended improvements to course layout, playability, infrastructure and overall presentation. It considers factors such as golfer experience, safety, environmental sustainability and the long-term maintenance of the course, while respecting the unique character and natural setting of the club.
Importantly, the Master Plan is not a construction schedule or a commitment to immediate change. Instead, it provides a flexible framework to support future planning and decision-making, allowing the Club to prioritise projects over time in line with member feedback, financial capacity and operational needs.
