ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The 59th Annual General Meeting will be held at 7pm on Monday, 30th November, 2020 in the Function Room at the NBGC Clubhouse.
Members will be asked to approve the normal business matters as covered in our current constitution i.e. confirmation of the minutes of the 2019 Annual General Meeting; adoption of annual report, balance sheet, financial statements and auditor’s report; appointment of Club Patron and approval of Director’s benefits.
ELECTION OF DIRECTORS
At the 2016 Annual General Meeting members approved amendments to the Club’s Constitution to provide for future elections be conducted under the Triennial Rule (i.e. one-third of the Board positions becoming vacant each year).
At a General Meeting on 19 October 2020 members approved further amendments to the Club’s Constitution to increase the number of Board positions to 7 by including a position of Vice-Captain.
Nominations for the President (3 years), Director of Finance (3 years), Vice Captain (3 years) and a Director for (2 years) on the Board will open at 10am on Tuesday, 20th October 2020 and close at 5pm on Monday, 2nd November 2020.
Nomination forms and the additional information that is required to accompany a nomination will be available from the Office.
Members entitled to nominate candidates, stand for office and vote are Life Members, Full Playing Members and Junior Playing Members (over 18), all of whom must be financial.
If required electronic voting with open at 10am on Friday, 13th November 2020 and close at 5pm on Friday, 27th November 2020.
