The weather was fabulous and the Course was in great condition, thanks to Greg and the green staff, who have been working tirelessly since the damaging hailstorm in April. What more could you want.

We were also very fortunate to have our very first Junior entry, ten year old Amy Squires, who managed to convince her family to allow her to take time off school to participate. Amy played very well, and her attitude and demeanour on the course is to be commended. We look forward to having Amy with us for many years to come.

Our Divisions were very closely contested, only a few points difference after each round, making a very exciting last round.

In Division 3, winner,  Doreen Sutcliffe played very consistently over the four rounds and managed to hold off Runner Up, Pat Harrold who was also playing very well.

Division 3, Nett Winner was Lyn Hollier and Runner Up was Shirley Anicich.

In Division 2, winner Karen Flat, also playing very consistently, held her breath on the last round to beat Nola Brown who was back in form.

Division 2 Nett Winner was Amy Squires and Runner Up was Gail Murray.

In Division 1, winner Rhondda Shaw played excellent golf, with Robyn Kennett (Runner Up) also playing very good golf. It was very closely contested over the four rounds, but Rhondda managed to hold onto her slender lead in the last round and is our 2018 Ladies Club Champion.

Division 1 Nett Winner was Robyn Rocher and Runner Up was Susie Anderson.

To all our Players, congratulations. Just participating is a great achievement and I look forward to seeing you all on the course enjoying your golf.
